ABOUT JAKE & JAY:
Jay was born and raised in Ilderton Ontario where he attended Medway High School. Jay played for the Ilderton Jets for minor hockey and then played numerous sports in high school including football, rugby, and for the back to back WOSSA champions varsity hockey team.

After graduating from Medway he attended McMaster University where he played for their football team and was assistant coach for the Chedoke
Express where they won the Minor Midget Alliance championship in 2018-19. After school he moved back to the area and has been an assistant coach for the Ilderton Jets for the 2021-22 U15 and 2022-23 U13 teams.

Jake spent the majority of my childhood in Ilderton and representing the Ilderton Jets on the ice. He attended Medway High School and played varsity hockey for 3 years for the Cowboys between 2013-2016. Over those 3 years he was a part of 2 WOSSAA winning teams that represented Southwestern Ontario at OFSAA. He also captained the 2015-16 team to Medway’s first ever TVRA AAA/AAAA City Championship. Jake completed his undergrad at McMaster, where he played 2 years of Varsity Rugby. Jake returned home to complete his B.ED at Western.

He currently teaches in the TVDSB and has volunteered with Medway Athletics in various capacities over the past 4 years with the Medway boys hockey, rugby and football programs. Jake also assisted as a coach on U13 and U15 IMHA teams from 2021-2023.

ABOUT CARSON: Carson was born and raised in Thorndale but has been an Ilderton resident for the past 5-years where he owns and operates TD Research. Prior to moving to Ilderton, he studied Chemistry at Western University and Business at the Richard Ivey Business School.

Carson played five seasons in the GOJHL, primarily with the St. Thomas Stars and London Nationals, winning the Western Conference twice. He won both the OJHL Championship and the OHF Jr. A Championship with the Trenton Golden Hawks. Carson’s coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach for two OFSAA‑qualifying Medway Boys AAA/AAAA hockey teams, Head Skills and Development Coach for the St. Marys Jr. B Lincolns, and coach for U13 and U15 IMHA Rep teams.

We are so excited to welcome Carson to the Irish and continue our commitment to building a winning team rooted in the community.
