This past October, on the 7th, we hosted our annual Nick Smith Memorial Game against Exeter. Celebrating the life of our teammate and friend, Nicholas Smith, this special game not only honours Nick’s memory but is used to raise funds for the Nicholas Smith Memorial Foundation; a foundation Nick’s family has set up in his memory.
The proceeds generated from our 50/50 Draw during this game contribute directly to the foundation. This organization is dedicated to supporting local children in sports by providing awards, financial assistance, and advocating for enhanced mental health resources within our sports centers and communities.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who generously participated in the 50/50 draw this year. Your contributions have a meaningful impact on the lives of young athletes and the legacy of Nick Smith.
We carry Nick in our hearts every day, and he will forever be a part of this organization and community.
