Our annual Player Signing and Skate With the Irish Six event took place on September 8th, 2024!
Friends, Family, Fans and the community attended the Lucan Community Memorial Centre to meet the 2024-25 Lucan Irish Six Roster in a press-style event. Players were announced to the crowd and ‘signed’ in a ceremony that included refreshments and photos.
After the signings concluded, the excitement moved to the ice for an hour of fun in our annual “Skate with the Irish Six”! Lucan Irish Six sponsored an hour of ice to offer a free-skate to the community, player families, fans, and friends of the Irish. There were beach balls, balloons, treats, and other party favours! Participants enjoyed the opportunity to chat with the players, engage in friendly racing, and share a memorable experience with fellow fans.
The Lucan Irish Six extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who turned up to support the event and meet the members of the team. The overwhelming response from the community put us in high spirits heading into the season!
The fantastic event kick-started the season for us and we are glad to have this community along for the ride!
